Psalm 71:15-16 'I will tell of Your goodness; all day long I will speak of Your salvation, though it is more than I can understand. I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will proclaim Your goodness, Yours alone.' Amen!
It has now been a year since God opened the way for Andy & I to begin running a “Drop in Café” for boaters on Litania. We call the venture “Boaters’ Café Club” and it operates once a month as a joint venture with Julian House from Bath. It has been very successful and now we are starting to open two days a month. The additional day enables us to work with a member of Wiltshire Health Training team, who wants to promote “health & well being” to boaters. Peter and Lin also help with these ventures and we praise the Lord for their involvement.
Just before Christmas we all took Litania out a couple of times to distribute food parcels to twenty-six boaters.
Running alongside these activities, we were delighted to be a part of Canal Ministries team hosting the first “Alpha Afloat” on Litania. It was wonderful to see the Lord working in boaters’ lives last autumn/winter and witnessing prayer being offered and answered. Praise the Lord!
We continue to enjoy the privilege of assisting a few boaters we have known for a number of years and whom we pray for regularly. We now consider these folk as our friends.
We continually pray for more opportunities to share God's love on the waterways.
Every Blessing in Him
